Here is a summary of my failed attempt and some more info:ĮDIT: a simple guide for getting CDDA work on PSP POPS: (Not for VITA POPS, this is only for testing purposes on PSP, do not currently work on VITA POPS)ġ- Rip your game via using. img/.ccd/.sub out of eboot.pbp's worked for official eboot.pbps. none of the converter programs i use for getting. I decrypted sony psone classics pkg with pkg decrypters, i got the eboot.pbp file but that was it. I remember reading they converted cdda tracks to ATRAC3, but it might just be speculation. Somehow sony got away with CDDA audio in their psn releases. There wasn't a converter which would convert CDDA to the new psn audio format in the PSP era, only solution was to use a POPS version 4.1 or lower via POPSLOADER. i would be more than glad if you could add it to the compatibility list i linked. Is there a converter that can create PS1 EBOOTs compatible with the newer audio format used with newer Pops? That would be the ideal solution as they would then work with the PS1 Loader.thanks for the info. I do wonder if there is a solution though. This is absolutely not a complaint of course, extremely grateful for the exploits that are available. In most cases, this problem can be overcome by using the PSN version of a game, but this obviously cannot be done with games never released on PSN, such as the aforementioned WipEout 2097/XL, WipEout 3/3SE etc. I have WipEout XL which does not work with CDDA with either TN-V+PEOPS or the PS1 Loader, yet this same file does with on my PSP-3000 6.60 PRO-C2 using an older version of POPS with Popsloader. MysticalLiete wrote:TN-V with PEOPS actually doesn't work with CDDA, at least with user-made files. %E2%80%93MĬDDA games on psn store are good candidates to search for this behaviour further. dio_tracksĪnd here are the lists of psn classics. Here is a list of CDDA games for reference info. every program i tried that works with homemade eboot.pbps failed with psn ones. i heard sony converted cdda tracks to ATRAC3 for this, i tried to confirm it but i couldn't extract eboot.pbp to. Psn versions of CDDA games work regardless of firmware version though. and even if you use POPSLOADER for 4.01 firmware POPS, you still have to use a converter which can handle CDDA audio.

do you have a chance to try a eboot.pbp with CDDA audio ripped from disc? I will try and write the result here when i have time.ĪFAIK PSP POPS after firmware 4.01 doesn't support CDDA audio, that might be the same for VITA POPS too as it is nearly the same with PSP POPS.

OP is talking about homemade eboot.pbp ripped from disc. The rest of the ingame music tracks are XA.i assume it is the psn version. I just beat a character story on Tekken 2 and I'm 90% sure that the credits song is CDDA and it played fine.
